I don’t want to change the world. I want to change your world.

Well, well, well… this Friday has turned out trendy AF.

Bathroom floor, wall and shower tiles

Look, I’m going to get really candid for a moment and tell you that I’m not here to shove my ideas into your home. You should have complete say in the final decision of your selections. But I am here to guide you in the process and make thoughtful decisions.

I’m not here to push you one way or another in a design style. Trends are great… if you’re into them. There are also 100 other ways a space can be designed. There is never — and I mean never — a time that there will be one way and one way only to design or decorate a space. That’s the beauty of design really.

I’m also not here to make you second guess your own choices. But, I am here to steer you in the right direction to make information and comprehensive decisions that will impact the way you live in your space for years to come. I’m here to listen to your needs and learn about you so I can help deliver a finish product that is perfect for you. That’s what all good designers should do.

If you know me, then you know I’m not into trends (especially the uber popular grey palette happening right now). But if YOU like it and want a grey palette, I will make it happen while still keeping it tasteful, inviting, and something you hopefully won’t be sick of in the years to come. We are all about creating designs that are timeless yet completely personal to you.

I’ve seen it too many times lately, people get bulldozed over — their own wants, needs and opinions are shut down because “this is more popular,” “oh you’ll love this more,” “everyone is buying this one,” and the worst one, “my friend said this is the better choice,” without being told WHY or HOW something will look together as a cohesive palette. Believe me, no one cares as much about your project as you — so take some time to educate yourself, be diligent in your choices and ultimately remember that you’re the one who has to live with it (not to just get a few likes on social media).
